Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in Tails of Summer! We were especially excited about the dogs, costumes, and cupcakes. We ate too many of them. We haven’t heard the final numbers from DoveLewis yet but we think we raised aroud $600 which is great! Neither of us have ever done a fundraising event before and it has been a real learning experience. Now on to next year!
We are thinking of doing doughnuts next year. It is morning after all. We really want to get Tshirts and hopefully we can make that happen next year. Also possibly making the route an even 10k since people are used to that, and we will have a garbage at the far end.
